For the third day in a row, I’m posting the evolution of a song I’m working in. I’m starting to realize, iPads are great fucking instruments! A bit of effort and app investment is needed though, but in the end, you end up with a super emulator of synthetizers, drum machines, sequencers and samplers in just one flat touch screen, yeah, you’re right, touchscreen suuuucks for music making, but I’m getting the hang of it and I’m figuring out ways to connect my m-audio Midair controller to my ipad and just make the process smoother.
Apps I’ve been using in this song so far:
– Turnado http://www.sugar-bytes.de/content/products/Turnado/
– iElectribe https://itunes.apple.com/app/korg-ielectribe/id363714043?mt=8
– iKaossilator https://itunes.apple.com/app/korg-ikaossilator/id452559831?mt=8
– Animoog http://www.moogmusic.com/products/apps/animoog-0
And I’m mixing and editing with logic pro 8.
Bon voyage, I think it’s time for me to go on a run to help clear my mind (headphones on, music on, no destination, boooom! suddenly the voices in my head are gone… for a while)
